I watched the entire GOP debate in New Hampshire, and this is what I walked away with:
Rubio is the best speaker, but you have to show up for the job you already have before you deserve the job you want. Responsibility fail. Beware the silver tongue who fails to show up when it counts.
Trump is the master of the sound byte. He looked weak and childish once or twice, but will get credit for being super successful at business and willing to speak his mind. He’s got the balls to say what the rest won’t and for that he has earned a loyal following.
Cruz is equally the least likable of the major candidates based on personality and demeanor, but his strong statements about repealing every single one of Obama’s unconstitutional abuses of executive power will appeal to a LOT of people. Cruz will look like a cheater to everyone except his loyal contingent who will support him no matter what is said.
Christie was refreshing in his criticisms and did a decent job of pointing to his experience, but failed to speak enough about what he would do as President.
Carson simply does not exude executive level confidence.
Bush makes a few good points, but overall projects a loser’s stance both by facial expressions, word choice, and constantly shaking his head (which is a negative expression).
Trump wins with the media.
Rubio wins with the masses.
Cruz wins with uktra conservative Evangelicals.
